How it Works
Clients currently seeing a psychologist at Mind Health Care have access to a psychiatric review with a Mind Health Care psychiatrist (subject to availability). A psychiatric review is a one off assessment in which your GP (and your psychologist, if you consent) receive a detailed assessment summary and a 12 month treatment plan.
A psychiatric review can be helpful for those who are seeking clarification about their mental health diagnosis and for those who are looking to have their medications assessed by an expert in mental health medications.
In order to organise a psychiatric review at Mind Health Care you will need to submit a referral from your GP requesting this service.
